“Safety and security don't just happen, they are the result of collective consensus and public investment. We owe our children, the most vulnerable citizens in our society, a life free of violence and fear.”

Nelson Mandela, Former President of South Africa

Since our nonprofit charitable organization launch in 2008, the Calvin Johnson Jr. Foundation, Inc. (CJJRF) has created a solid foundation that promotes servanthood, leadership, character development, physical fitness,  health consciousness, and teamwork.  We continue to work hard  to promote our causes (support for those less fortunate, pancreatic cancer research scholarships,  graduating senior football athlete scholarships, health and physical fitness awareness, and providing financial support to nonprofit organizations) which are aligned to our vision, mission, and goal. Our vision is to foster social, economical, physical, and intellectual intergenerational change.
Our mission is to change the mindset of youth from struggle to survival, from poor self-esteem to excitement of life, from dependent thinking to goal setting self-sufficiency, and from hopelessness to empowerment.  Our goal is to assist youth with catching college and career dreams through participation in relevant, realistic, and rigorous initiatives during their progression to adulthood.  While there is always more that can be done to help youth and families in need in our community, there’s no doubt that we are making a significant impact. See how you can become part of the difference.
